New Delhi, Sept. 22 -- The clarification from the White House on the H-1B visa fee hike makes clear that the measure will not affect the current visa holders and will apply as a one-time fee only to fresh petitions, IT body Nasscom said today, adding that it anticipates a marginal impact for the sector.

In a statement, Nasscom also said that India and India centric companies operating in the US have been significantly reducing their dependence on H-1B visas.
