London, March 27 -- The World Cricketers' Association (WCA) has called for a fundamental restructuring of cricket's financial model, warning that the current system is failing to ensure competitive balance across the global game. In its newly released report, Protecting History, Embracing Change: A Unified, Coherent Global Future, the WCA highlights the stark disparity in revenue distribution, with 83 per cent of global cricket revenue concentrated among three countries, while teams ranked 13 to 108 receive just two per cent.
