Shimla, Sept. 29 -- Himachal Pradesh continued to witness mainly warm and dry post-monsoon weather today.

The maximum temperature soared in the plains, with Una recording the highest at 37.6degC, while the minimum temperature dropped significantly in the higher reaches, with Tabo in Lahaul-Spiti shivering at 7.7degC, the lowest in the state.

According to the Meteorological Centre Shimla, most stations reported above-normal temperatures, with maximums higher by 2-8degC and minimums by 2-6degC.

Despite the seasonal change, light fog and partly cloudy conditions were reported in some areas due to a weak western disturbance and a cyclonic circulation over north Haryana.
