Sujanpurtira (HP), Dec. 5 -- In a unique crime, Hamirpur police have registered a case against two wardens and six senior students of Sainik School, Sujanpur Tihra, under the Anti-Ragging Act and the POCSO Act for allegedly ragging an eighth-grade student.

The FIR was lodged after the victim's father first raised the matter through an email complaint to the school management and later approached Superintendent of Police Balveer Singh Thakur.

According to the police, the student, a resident of Chamba district, alleged that six Class 12 students subjected him to repeated harassment, physical assault, forced stripping, and prolonged punishment in the "murga" position.
