Lucknow, March 8 -- A Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) terrorist, who was absconding for the last 18 years, has been arrested in a joint operation by the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) and Moradabad police, an ATS spokesman said here on Saturday.
The spokesman said during the Saharanpur unit of ATS got a tip-off that Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Ulfat Hussain alias Mohd Saiful Islam alias Afzal, a resident of Fazalabad village, Surankote in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, was residing in Moradabad. "Acting on the information, the ATS and Moradabad police arrested Ulfat on Friday," he said.
