Chandigarh, Feb. 18 -- In a major breakthrough, Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) of Punjab police allegedly killed wanted 'A' category gangster Gurmeet Singh alias Kala Dhanula at a farm house in Badbar of Barnala district on Sunday.
Director-general of police Gaurav Yadav said that the police party fired back in self defence, in which one inspector and one sub-inspector have been injured in cross-firing.
The accused has a criminal history with more than 60 criminal cases registered against him in different police stations, he added.
