Firozabad (UP), June 20 -- A criminal wanted in murder and robbery case was killed in an encounter with the police in Shikohabad area of Firozabad district here in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, a senior police officer said here.
Senior Superintendent of Police Saurabh Dixit said that on Friday morning, Shikohabad police station received information from an informer that wanted murder and robbery criminal Raju Khan was in the area. "Police surrounded the criminal near Nova Factory and asked him to surrender, but the criminal started firing indiscriminately at the police team," he said.
