Gorakhpur, Aug. 12 -- A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday morning near Carmel School in Gorakhpur when a dilapidated boundary wall belonging to the Forest Department suddenly collapsed.
The accident took place around 10 AM and resulted in multiple injuries and one fatality.
Due to a parent-teacher meeting (PTM) at Carmel School, several parents and guardians were present on the road near the school, either walking with their children or waiting on parked bikes. Without warning, the old wall crumbled, trapping several passersby under the debris.
