Nagpur, Oct. 22 -- Senior Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar today criticised the Maharashtra government, alleging favouritism in the allocation of development funds to ruling party MLAs while pressing issues such as farmer distress and welfare schemes were being neglected.
Speaking to reporters here, Wadettiwar claimed that despite the state's poor financial condition and suspension of several schemes, the government has sanctioned Rs 5 crore each to nearly 50 newly elected MLAs from the ruling coalition.
