Sri City (Tirupati), Dec. 18 -- The Sri City based VRV Asia Pacific, a subsidiary of Chart Industries, has achieved a landmark international milestone by exporting a massive liquid nitrogen storage tank to Air Liquide in Egypt. This 531-kiloliter vessel, weighing 168 tonnes and stretching 39 meters, represents the pinnacle of cryogenic engineering and required complex multi-axle logistics to reach Chennai Port, the company said in a release here on Thursday.
Hailing the export as a definitive triumph for the 'Make in India' initiative, Sri City MD Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy described the feat as a crowning success that cements VRV's reputation for world-class cryogenic engineering.
