Amritsar, June 8 -- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday assailed the traditional political parties for "remaining insensitive" towards the welfare of economically weaker and underprivileged sections and alleged that these leaders have always treated the Schedule Castes (SC) brethren merely as their vote banks.
Addressing a gathering here, Mann said those who had usurped the money meant for the well being of poor students in the form of post matric scholarship scheme are confronting several health ailments.
Mann alleged these rulers of the state were completely "insensitive towards the problems of the common man and have always treated the SC brethren as merely vote banks.
