New Delhi, Aug. 18 -- Vodafone Idea (Vi) shares witnessed a surge of about 9 per cent, logging an intra-day high at Rs 6.68 per share on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Moreover, the telecom giant posted a net loss of Rs 6,608 crore in Quarter one of the current fiscal year compared to Rs 6,432 crore in the same quarter last year.
