Agartala, June 26 -- Visually impaired Papan Sutradhar of Bijoynagar in Mohanpur, near Agartala, scripted history by topping the Tripura Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)-II examination this year.
Papan scored over 80 percent in the exam conducted for the recruitment of teachers for the upper primary level. He secured 121 out of 150 marks fighting against multiple challenges, including economic hardship.
Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha congratulated Papan for his remarkable success and said, "Under his guidance, students will flourish and learn to overcome challenges. Papan becomes an inspiration for all of us, and he showed the way to success in sheer hard work and dedication."
