Dubai, Dec. 3 -- India star Virat Kohli has moved up to fourth place in the latest ICC Men's Player Rankings for ODI batters following his match-winning century against South Africa in Ranchi. The innings helped India secure a crucial victory and brought Kohli closer to the top spot among the world's leading ODI batsmen.
According to the International Cricket Council (ICC) website, Kohli, who struck a superb 135 off 120 balls in the opening ODI, improved his rating to 751 points, placing him just 32 points behind top-ranked Rohit Sharma.
The 37-year-old moved past teammate Shubman Gill to continue his pursuit of the No.1 ranking, which he last held in April 2021 before being overtaken by Pakistan's Babar Azam.
