Bengaluru, Nov. 21 -- The Karnataka High Court's decision restoring Vinay Mruthyunjaya's eligibility for the KSCA Secretary post has triggered sharp criticism of the association's Managing Committee, which allegedly withheld from members a crucial attempt to postpone the upcoming elections.

Mruthyunjaya, a former KSCA treasurer, said the Committee's silence on the November 17 letter, through which the Electoral Officer abruptly postponed the polls citing eligibility concerns, was "deeply troubling" and a breach of its responsibility to members.

"At a time when transparency and accountability should define our governance, their silence on such an important development raises serious questions," he said.
