Washington, Dec. 6 -- Vin Diesel will not only headline but also co-write the upcoming 'Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots' movie for Mattel Studios, Variety reported.
Diesel will produce the project through his banner, One Race Films.
While plot details remain under wraps, the film is expected to "bring the legendary Red Rocker and Blue Bomber to life in an all-new live-action adventure," according to Variety.
Sharing his excitement, Diesel said he's eager to reintroduce a childhood favorite to modern audiences, crafting a story that explores competition in a world defined by strength and dominance, while ultimately highlighting compassion at its core.
