Shimla, May 25 -- Leader of Opposition and former chief minister Jai Ram Thakur today demanded the resignation of Himachal Pradesh Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, alleging that a SIT probe couldn't deliver justice to Vimal Negi's family after his death two months ago.

Addressing a press conference here today Thakur said that neither the SP nor DGP abide by the Chief Minister's orders and the entire law enforcement machinery is in a state of disarray.

"It seems now that corruption is mushrooming under this regime; and after the death of Vimal Negi there may possibly be bigger incidents if this government does not go," the BJP leader stated.
