New Delhi, Dec. 3 -- On the last day of the last session of Delhi Assembly, Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta was marshalled out of the House, after Speaker Ram Niwas Goel turned down the BJP's demand for a discussion on the rising prices of onion.

The BJP MLAs brought 10-15 women in the House for holding a protest against the surging onion prices in the city. The Speaker then marshalled out Mr Gupta, and the other BJP MLAs walked out of the House.

''They brought 10-15 women in the House. I had agreed for a discussion. But I cannot allow any hooliganism in the House. This was the last day of the session. I wanted a fruitful discussion. I condemn the act,'' the Speaker said.

The two-day session of the Assembly began on Monday. Assembly...
