Bengaluru, Oct. 7 -- Karnataka BJP chief Vijayendra Yediyurappa today slammed the Congress government over the ongoing caste census, calling it "totally unscientific" and alleging that even Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar could not answer many of the 60-plus questions, raising doubts about how ordinary citizens would respond.

Vijayendra alleged that glitches and undue pressure from the state administration have hampered the proper implementation of the caste census. "If a minister himself is struggling, the ordinary citizen will face even greater difficulties," he told reporters.
