Bengaluru, April 4 -- Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Friday held the Congress government responsible for the suicide of party worker Vinay Somaiah, alleging political harassment and abuse of power, and demanded a thorough and transparent investigation into the incident. Calling the death "a very painful matter," Vijayendra said, "It seems likely that Vinay committed suicide due to a politically motivated FIR against him. Since the Congress government came to power, BJP workers have been subjected to harassment, pressure and atrocities."
