Bengaluru, Nov. 3 -- Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa today hit out at the Congress government for prioritising "fancy projects" like the proposed tunnel road while ignoring the crumbling road infrastructure across Bengaluru and the state.

He said the Congress government, led by Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, has failed to address the basic civic concerns of citizens despite repeated appeals over the last two and a half years. "Instead of fixing potholes and damaged roads, the government is obsessed with big announcements and photo-ops. What Bengaluru needs is not glamour projects but safe, motorable roads," Vijayendra said.
