Vijayawada, March 21 -- In yet another remarkable achievement, the Vijayawada Division of South Central Railway (SCR) has set a new benchmark by recording its highest ever Gross Revenue of Rs. 5638 Crore in the current fiscal year.
This outstanding performance surpasses the previous record, with 11 days still remaining in the financial year. The Division also achieved a significant milestone in freight revenue, registering Rs. 4098.21 Crore-a testament to its operational efficiency, sustained growth, and strategic utilization of resources.
The previous highest Gross and freight revenue Rs.5625 Crore and Rs.4062 Crore respectively registered in 2023-24, has been comfortably exceeded, marking a historic moment for the Division.
