Chennai, Nov. 20 -- Lying low since the horrendous stampede at Karur during his rally, tht claimed 41 lives on September 27,actor and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Founder-President Vijay is all set to resume his campaign from Salem on December 4.
TVK functionaries have submitted a petition to the Salem City Commissioner of Police, seeking permission to hold the rally.
They have also given a list of three venues for consideration.
According to party sources, functionaries have impressed upon the actor-turned politician the need to resume his campaign, whichwas suspended following the Karur tragedy.
