Chennai, March 23 -- Making his maiden electoral plunge in the April 9 Assembly elections in the union Territory of Puducherry, the nascent Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) of actor-turned-neta Vijay announced his party's candidates for all the 30 seats.

After announcing the candidates late on Sunday night here after holding discussions with his party members, in a last minute development, roped in Neyyam Makkal Kazhagam (NMK) of Independent MLA G Nehru as its ally and allotted two seats.

The NMK was allotted the Orleanpe from where Nehru would seek re-election, and the high-profile Thattanchavady seat from where Chief Minister N Rangasamy was seeking re-election.
