Chennai, March 28 -- Upping his ante against the BJP-led Government at the Centre and the ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu, the nascent Tamiliaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Founder and actor Vijay on Friday asserted that it would be a straight contest between his party and the ruling DMK, which he alleged was having tacit pact with the BJP, in the upcoming 2026 Assembly elections.
Making a strong statement at the TVK' first General Council (GC) meeting, in which more than 2,100 members participated, and over 20 resolutions against the Centre and the State governments, including on delimitation, two-language policy, the Rs 1,000 crore TASMAC scam in the State were adopted, said Tamil Nadu will witness an election like never before.
