Hyderabad, Dec. 16 -- As part of the Vijay Diwas programme, Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu paid rich tributes to the fallen bravehearts of 1971 at the Amar Jawan Jyoti at Parade Ground, Secunderabad, on Tuesday.
The Deputy Chief Minister, along with Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, laid wreaths at the Memorial and paid homage to the soldiers who laid down their lives in the 1971 war, in which India defeated Pakistan and played a decisive role in the liberation of Bangladesh.
