Chandigarh, Nov. 22 -- In its ongoing crackdown on corruption, the Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) today arrested Patwari Sarabjit Singh, posted at Circle Golward, Village Bala Chak, District Tarn Taran while allegedly accepting the second installment of a bribe of Rs 25,000 from a complainant, a resident of District Amritsar.

Disclosing this, a spokesperson of the VB said that the complainant wanted to sell his land and, for this purpose, he obtained a copy of the mutation (fard) of his property.
