New Delhi, April 30 -- To Lam, President of Vietnam, will undertake a state visit to India from May 5 to 7 at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inject fresh momentum into bilateral ties while exploring new avenues of cooperation across multiple sectors.

This marks President To Lam's first visit to India since assuming office in April this year. The visit comes as both countries mark a decade of their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

The Vietnamese leader will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including ministers, senior government officials, and a strong business contingent, underlining the growing economic and strategic engagement between the two countries.
