New Delhi, Nov. 18 -- The UNI News Agency has seen a previously recorded video featuring terrorist and ideologue Dr. Umar Nabi, in which he is heard directly justifying suicide bombing as an act of martyrdom.
Dr Umar Nabi was driving the i20 car, which exploded outside the Red Fort in the national capital, killing 15 persons and injuring over 32. He recorded the video before executing the bomb blast.
In the footage, Nabi explicitly states, "suicide bomber is misunderstood; it is martyrdom," before launching into a theological argument to support his claim. His comments aim to recast the violent tactic as a religiously sanctioned act.
