Chandigarh, Dec. 29 -- A controversy has erupted after a video surfaced from the Shaheedi Samagam held in Fatehgarh Sahib between December 25 and 27, allegedly showing two Nihang youths forcibly removing caps from devotees and parading them on spears during the religious gathering.
According to eyewitnesses, the youths were seen taking caps off the heads of visitors against their will and hanging them on their spears, which they carried on their shoulders while moving around the venue.
The incident reportedly led to arguments when members of the Sikh community present at the event objected to the manner in which the devotees were treated.
