Thrissur, March 1 -- Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan laid the foundation stone for "Ganasramam", a music-based meditation project envisioned by Fr Paul Poovathingal, popularly known as the "singing priest," at Nadathara, about seven kilometres from Thrissur.
Ganasramam aims to offer a serene space where music serves as a medium for meditation and inner healing. Explaining the concept, Fr Poovathingal said the ashram would provide relief to people living under stress and pressure in today's competitive world.
"Ganasramam will be a shelter for many to de-stress, detach from worldly competition, and immerse themselves in audio-visual meditation," he said on Saturday.
