New Delhi, Nov. 30 -- Vice Admiral Sanjay Sadhu, a veteran officer who played a key role in the modernisation and acquisition of aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya from Russia, has assumed charge as the Controller of Warship Production and Acquisition. Prior to assuming charge as CWP&A, the Flag Officer served as the Programme Director, Advanced Technology Vessel Programme at New Delhi.
Commissioned into the Indian Navy in 1987, the Flag Officer holds a postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MPhil in Defence and Strategic Studies.
In a statement issued here today, the Naval spokesperson said that during his career spanning more than 38 years, the Flag Officer has tenanted several key Operational, Staff, and Yard appointments....
