Jalandhar, March 23 -- An outreach program for veterans was organised by Double Victory Brigade at Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday.
A large number of Ex-Servicemen, Widows and Veer naris participated in the event organised on behalf of the Vajra Corps. A team of Officers and Junior Commissioned Officers led by Colonel Veteran participated from the Army's side and attended to the problems being faced by the Veterans related to pension, ECHS cards and Canteen Smart Cards. Grievances and concerns of the veterans were discussed in an interactive session.
