Jaipur, May 16 -- Mohanlal Rathore, a former MLA from Jhalrapatan in Jhalawar district of Rajasthan and a senior Congress leader, passed away on Friday. He was 86 years old.
Rathore had been unwell for some time, and his condition worsened in the morning. He was taken to the hospital by his family members when he breathed his last on the way.
Rathore represented the Jhalrapatan assembly constituency as a Congress MLA from 1998 to 2003. He also played a significant role in strengthening the party as the Jhalawar district president of Congress.
