Hyderabad, Aug. 23 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to conduct the last rites of CPI national leader and former MP Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy with state honours.

The Chief Minister instructed Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao to issue necessary orders and make arrangements immediately.

Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy, former General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI) and veteran parliamentarian, passed away late last night in Hyderabad. He was 84. He is survived by his wife Vijayalakshmi and sons Nikhil and Kapil.

Reddy, who had been suffering from respiratory problems, breathed his last at 10:20 pm while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Gachibowli. His eyes were donated to the LV Prasad...
