Bengaluru, July 30 -- The Special Court for trial of criminal cases against sitting and former MPs/MLAs today adjourned the verdict in one of the sexual abuse and rape cases against former Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna to August 1, after seeking clarifications on technical evidence.

Judge Santhosh Gajanan Bhat sought additional explanation on Google Maps data, mobile location details, and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) reports before pronouncing the verdict.

The case pertains to the alleged rape of a 47-year-old former domestic worker at Prajwal's farmhouse in Hassan, based on a complaint registered at Holenarasipura Town Police Station on April 28, 2024.
