Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 18 -- AICC General Secretary K C Venugopal on Thursday expressed solidarity with G P Kunjabdulla, the lyricist of a parody song highlighting the alleged gold looting from Lord Ayyappa temple at Sabarimala, and strongly criticised the ruling CPI(M) for what he termed as "state-sponsored intolerance".
He said he congratulated the artist on the song's powerful lyrics, noting that they had resonated with the public across Kerala.
He also assured the lyricist of full legal support from the Congress party in connection with the case filed following a complaint.
