Shimla, Feb. 15 -- The light to moderate snowfall in higher altitude areas of Himachal Pradesh has significantly impacted road conditions, causing disruptions and safety concerns for commuters.

Authorities have reported snowfall in various higher reaches, including Kullu, Shimla, Kinnaur, Kangra, and Chamba districts, prompting travel advisories.

In Lahaul-Spiti, where snowfall remains ongoing, officials have urged commuters to exercise extreme caution while travelling.

Deputy Commissioner Shimla Anupam Kashyap said that the administration directed to divert vehicular traffic from Old Hindustan Tibet National Highway after a fresh spell at Narkanda.
