Bhubaneswar, Sept. 15 -- Vedanta Aluminium, India's largest aluminium producer, has launched its new 5-inch aluminium billets to meet the growing demand for precision-engineered aluminium in critical applications across diverse sectors.
The 5-inch billets are designed for small to medium profiles and extrusion of seamless tubes used in automotive, aerospace, and HVAC industries.
They can also be utilised in manufacturing micro-tubes, condenser tubes, electrical busbars, rods, handles, and hollow profiles such as window and door frames, heat sinks, and irrigation tubes. Additionally, they can be cut into slugs for forging automotive components and aerospace fittings.
