Chennai, March 24 -- After hectic parleys and hard bargaining, the dalit outfit Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) of Lok Sabha MP Thol Thirumavalavan, scaled down from its hardened stand of double digit numbers, and signed the seat sharing agreement with the ruling DMK on Tuesday, accepting eight seats, to contest the April 23 polls to elect the 17th Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly.
The VCK was allotted two seats more than what it was given in the 2021 elections in which it had won four of them.
