Chennai, Feb. 23 -- Wind turbine maker Vayona Energy said it has signed an agreement for 702 MW wind power project with Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL), a subsidiary of The Tata Power Company Ltd.
As per the deal, Vayona Energy will supply 195 SG 3.6-145 wind turbines to multiple projects of TPREL across Karnataka, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, collectively adding 702 MW of capacity.
This milestone further strengthens the long-standing partnership, expanding Tata Power's wind energy portfolio beyond 2 GW, encompassing both operational assets and projects at various stages of development.
