Rio De Janeiro, Aug. 27 -- Crystal Palace midfielder Matheus Franca has joined Vasco da Gama on loan as the Brazilian Serie A club strengthens its squad for the second half of the season.
The 21-year-old former Flamengo player agreed to a loan deal running until June 2026 after completing a medical in Rio de Janeiro.
"It's great to be back in Rio de Janeiro, especially at a giant club like Vasco," he said in a video posted on Vasco's official website on Tuesday.
