Ahmedabad, Dec. 19 -- India's mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy has underlined the importance of self-imposed pressure, confidence, and consistency as key pillars of his preparation ahead of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, stressing that elite players must challenge themselves even when matches appear comfortable.

Speaking on 'Follow The Blues' on JioHotstar, the Karnataka-born spinner said creating mental pressure was essential to remain competitive at the highest level.
