Varanasi, Sept. 15 -- union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who represents Kashi in Parliament, is leaving no stone unturned to beautify the historic city under the mantra of 'Vikas Bhi, Virasat Bhi' (development along with heritage), transforming it into a model city of development.
Speaking at a meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee 'Disha' at the Circuit House, the minister informed that since 2014, 486 projects worth Rs 35,155 crore have been completed in Varanasi, while work is ongoing on 125 more projects valued at Rs 16,338 crore.
