Varanasi, Aug. 19 -- The Chief Judicial Magistrate's court, while hearing the case of a local hotelier, has ordered the Cantt police station to register a case against four people including Bhojpuri film star Pawan Singh.
Advocate Rahul Dwivedi, who is pleading the case, said that this order was issued on August 13, which came to the notice of the media today.
Dwivedi said the case was filed in mid-July with the help of advocates Ashish Singh and Dushyant Awasthi.
The hotelier has alleged that in 2017, Prem Shankar Rai, a resident of Maharashtra, and his wife met him, claiming to be film producers. They lured him to invest in Bhojpuri films and earn good profits. After this, he was made to meet actor Pawan Singh in Varanasi itself. G...
