Lucknow, Nov. 7 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while addressing the commemorative event celebrating 150 years of Vande Mataram at the Lok Bhavan here on Friday descibed the song as a mantra of the Indian freedom struggle.
The Chief Minister addressed the participants who collectively sang the national song and took a pledge for Swadeshi.
He said that under the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this day is being observed as a day of remembrance to honor the spirit of patriotism that Vande Mataram ignited.
