New Delhi, Oct. 11 -- union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today inspected the newly constructed Yatri Suvidha Kendra at the New Delhi Railway Station, a move aimed at easing passenger flow and enhancing the travel experience during the festive season.

The facility, described as a Permanent Holding Area, is designed to accommodate approximately 7,000 passengers at any given time.

Speaking on the occasion, Vaishnaw said the initiative would significantly improve passenger comfort, particularly during peak travel periods.

"Similar Yatri Suvidha Kendras with state-of-the-art amenities will be developed at other key stations across the country," he added, according to a statement from the Railway Ministry.
