Jaipur, Nov. 15 -- Senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer V Srinivas is set to take over as new Chief Secretary of Rajasthan. The Rajasthan cadre 1989 batch IAS was on deputation in Delhi on the post of Secretary in the Department for Administrative Reforms, Public Grievances and Department of Pensions and Pensioners Welfare.
He has been relieved by the Centre from the present post Friday evening, on request from the Rajasthan government.
The state government has written to the Ministry for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions seeking Srinivas's services in Jaipur on the post of Chief Secretary. His order of posting as Chief Secretary is likely to be issued by Monday morning as he is scheduled to take the charge on the ne...
