Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 22 -- Kudumbashree, Kerala's State Poverty Eradication Mission, will launch a comprehensive state-wide gender and employment campaign, titled 'Uyare - Let Kerala Rise, Let Participation Grow', from January 1, 2026, aimed at increasing women's workforce participation in the State from the present 20 per cent to at least 50 per cent while ensuring safe, dignified and inclusive workplaces.
The campaign seeks to enhance women's participation in income-generating employment sectors and promote their holistic development through sustainable livelihoods.
