Prithviraj SinghDehradun, March 26 -- Domestic air service from Dehradun to Pithoragarh was started formally on Thursday with the inaugural flight of a 42-seater aircraft flagged off by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

This will reduce the travel time between Dehradun to the Kumaon hills in Pithoragarh from current 8-9 hours go one and half hours.

The much-talked about and long-awaited air service between Dehradun and Pithoragarh was inaugurated during the ongoing Navratri festivity.
